Case Studies
Silverthorne Trust, Berri
Client: The Silverthorne Trust
Duration: 12 months to complete construction
Description: This project involved the construction of a modern two storey office building to house three tenants on the upper level while the lower level was excavated into the sloping site to form an undercover car park. A lift lobby at lower car park level provides access to the upper level common foyer via an elevator. Stairs and ramps provide access from the street to the tenancies. Concrete tilt up construction was used for the walls with a steel frame suspended concrete floor and steel frame roof structure fitted between. High levels of insulation were incorporated to create a thermally efficient building envelope, along with the use of high performance glass to allow use of natural light. Internally each tenancy is fitted out using high quality materials and workmanship while externally, the combination of the feature stone, wall finishes and landscaping complete the project.
Riverview House
Client: Riverview Property Trust
Duration: 12 months to complete construction
Description: This project involved the construction of a modern two storey office building, divided into a number of tenancies. Concrete tilt up construction was used for the walls with a steel frame suspended concrete floor and steel frame roof structure fitted between. The upper floor has fantastic elevated views of the Murray River. An existing shop, storage shed and car park were demolished to provide a cleared site.
The upper level of the building is designated for office space while the lower level is mainly an undercover car park. A common foyer at lower level provides access from the street to the upper office level via a staircase and elevator. High levels of insulation were incorporated to create a thermally efficient building envelope, along with the use of large areas of external solar glazing to maximise use of natural light.
