Schiller residence

Description: The use of stone walls, quoins, finials, turned veranda posts and bay window on the front elevation replicate the features of a period style home. Internally this theme is maintained in the kitchen and master bedroom. An outdoor patio area incorporated under the main roof to provide an additional outdoor room. Construction was concrete slab on ground with brick veneer construction, trussed roof structure and Colorbond roof material. A waste water system allows the owners to recycle any water that goes down drains onto their garden areas.

Jericho residence

Duration: 12 months to complete construction
Description: This architect designed classic style home incorporates high ceilings, Santorini random pattern brickwork/rendered walls, large bay windows, French doors, double hung windows and raked ceilings. The use of first grade materials, experienced tradespeople and the attention to detail exemplifies quality throughout. The sunroom of the northern elevation has multi folding glazed doors that open up the space to the environment when weather permits. Construction was concrete slab on ground, double brick external walls, timber frame internal walls, trussed roof structure with Colorbond roof material.

Port Hughes residence

Duration: 12 months to complete construction
Description: This house provides panoramic views of the ocean from both the lower and upper floor living areas. An outdoor area to the rear of the upper level has a cedar lined ceiling and louvres, providing protection on days with strong sea breezes. Stainless steel fixings, handrails and cables are used extensively due to the marine environment. Construction was concrete slab on ground, solid brick walls to the ground floor, suspended concrete upper floor and brick veneer walls to upper level. The external stone walls, red brick quoins/plinths and style mimic a period style home however the interior layout and finish is more contemporary. A lift is incorporated into the stairwell to provide disabled access between levels.
