Since 1994, Hand Built has developed a building design service with an excellent reputation for creativity, practicality and professionalism. We provide independent design services to individual clients, developers and other builders, with our experience extending across a diverse range of project types and scales. As members of the Building Designers Association, our focus is to provide our clients with innovative design solutions within a practical framework and sound construction principles.
We integrate a range of construction techniques that best suit the individual project requirements and that ensure compliance with the latest codes and standards.

Our design team includes staff with HIA Greensmart Professional accreditation to provide clients with energy efficient and environmentally sustainable outcomes.
We can provide a level of documentation to suit the client, starting at concept designs that allow a project to be cost estimated, through to detailed architectural drawings and documentation required for final building approval. We can also provide photo realistic computer generated 3D images that allow the client to accurately visualise a project prior to construction.
Hand Built have a strong network of external consultants that bring specialist advice to a project when required.
